Spotlight Retail Group is searching for a talented Data Analyst to join our team.

As a Data Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of driving data-driven decisions and responsible for analysing large datasets, identifying trends, and developing sophisticated forecasting models to optimize our business operations.

 

Here's What Awaits You

  • Data Mastery: Collect, clean, and transform complex data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Model Development: Build and implement advanced forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques (e.g., ARIMA, SARIMA, Exponential Smoothing, Prophet, and more).
  • Insight Generation: Analyse model performance, interpret results, and communicate actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Visual Storytelling: Create compelling visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate complex data and trends.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest data technologies and techniques, and actively contribute to process improvements.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Must have 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on forecasting models.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and time-series analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Retail industry experience is highly valued.
