Anaconda, Australia's leading outdoor adventure retailer, is looking for a talented Planner to join our Merchandise planning team and help us inspire millions of Australians to "Play More, Pay Less."

Your Adventure Awaits

As our Merchandise Planner, you'll be at the heart of our strategy, reporting to the Planning Manager. You'll lead your team to optimize inventory, maximize sales, and drive profitability for your category.

• Plan and Forecast: Develop and maintain merchandise plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Optimize Performance: Manage product lifecycles, markdowns, and stock flow with our Buying and Supply Chain teams.
• Analyse & Strategize: Dive into sales, margin, and inventory data to provide actionable insights and drive business decisions.
• Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Buying, Supply Chain, and senior leadership, to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time.
• Lead & Mentor: Coach and develop your team to achieve business goals and align with best practices.

About You

You're an experienced Merchandise Planner with 4+ years of retail experience and a proven track record of delivering key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, margin, GMROI, and stock turn.

• Analytical Powerhouse: You possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills and are adept at generating actionable insights from data.
• Inventory Expert: You have a strong understanding of end-to-end inventory management, forecasting, and replenishment.
• Proven Leader: Your experience includes demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
• Collaborative Spirit: You thrive on cross-functional collaboration and have excellent communication skills.
• ERP Savvy: Experience with ERP systems is required and prior experience in the outdoor or camping category is a bonus.
