From our beginnings as a single dress fabric stall at Queen Victoria Market Spotlight has grown to become one of the largest fabrics, craft, party and home decorating superstores.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Help design and maintain the future IT strategic plan
  • Review industry technology trends and drive innovation
  • Build and maintain the enterprise architecture landscape
  • Establish migration plans to migrate the enterprise architecture towards target state
  • Produce well defined and cost-effective solution architectures for strategic or critical business initiatives
  • Assist with IT planning and budgeting
  • Communicating architecture and IT standards to all stakeholders
  • Ensuring that systems are architected to be secure and resilient
  • Aligning vendors to our technical roadmap

 

About You:

  • Must have Retail industry experience, understanding of trends, competitive positioning and retail technologies - spanning in-store, online/ digital channels and ERP solutions
  • Must have Tertiary qualifications in information systems or related discipline
  • Experience defining IT Strategy and architecture plans
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, solution architecture, reference architectures, information & communication technologies
  • Sound conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to translate ideas into practical implementation
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and influence the prevailing culture through people skills (IT & Business)
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
