Spotlight Retail Group is seeking a Reporting Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making within our Human Resources (HR) function. Provide expertise in data analysis and reporting which will enable the business to connect HR metrics to strategic initiatives, providing valuable insights to support overall business growth.

This will be a fixed term contract role for 18 months

 

What You Will be Doing

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyse relevant data to produce high-quality written reports for HR-related papers, presentations, and other materials to identify trends, patterns and insights to support organisational initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain all corporate workforce reporting, including monthly, board, annual, compliance, WGEA, and adhoc reporting.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive talent metric reports.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy and compliance within all HR systems and databases
  • Identifies and develops continuous improvement for reporting processes
  • Engagement Survey:
  • Project manage and execute the Group Engagement Survey.
  • Analyse survey data and provide actionable insights.
  • Offer expert consultation for action planning.
  • Performance and Succession:
  • Develop and implement a robust performance and succession framework for the Group.
  • Project Management:
  • Actively participate in and lead various HR projects as needed.

 

About You

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on data reporting, data analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Analytics).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to visualize data effectively.
  • Experience with data manipulation and research, including extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources.
  • Ability to analyse data from multiple sources and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian employment legislation (Modern Awards, EBAs, FairWork Act).
  • Exceptional data analytics skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Proven experience in business partnering, consulting, negotiation, and facilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
