About the role

You will support the Team Leaders at our Distribution Centre (DC) in the delivery of Operational Processes and the provision of excellent service to Spotlight stores and Customers along with supporting day to day operations of the DC.

 

 What you will be doing

  • Manage all aspects of Picking and Packing at the Distribution Centre (DC)
  • Manage customer inquiries and issues.
  • Ensure our team and all areas of the Distribution Centre (DC) are complying with safety protocols
  • Conduct stock recovery and labelling.
  • Performs regular inventory checks and produce daily SOHG (Stock on Hand) reports.
  • Lead a team of up to 35 team members
  • Comply to all company policies, team member agreement (EBA) and standard operating procedures (SOPS)
  • General admin duties and other responsibilities as directed by the Team Leaders.
  • Follow disciplinary procedures as required.

 

About You

  • Must have at least 3+ years of previous experience with picking and packing in a warehouse environment in a supervisor or leadership role
  • Exercise a high level of interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
  • Demonstrate personal and professional responsibility by coordinating the work of others and by being accountable for their own work.
  • Support Operations Manager with coaching, mentoring, and training of team members.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading a team of up to 15 team members or a function.
