Spotlight Retail Group is seeking an experienced Studio team Leader, this role will be based at our Shared Services Marketing Studio in Cecil St.

As a Studio Team Leader at Spotlight Retail Group, you'll be at the forefront of our internal Marketing Production Studio, driving the creation and development of high-quality print and digital assets. You'll oversee a talented team of designers, graphic artists and finished artists, ensuring timely delivery of a wide range of marketing materials including Catalogues (print and digital), Direct Mail, Press Ads, Point of Sale, OOH, Electronic Direct Mail, Web Assets and animated and static Social Media Content.

 

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and inspire a team of creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire creative process, from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Creative Overview: Contribute creatively and assist the team to achieve appealing design and content and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, buying, and production teams to align creative assets with business objectives.
  • Technical Proficiency: Leverage your expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, After Effects, Premiere etc.) to produce high-quality assets.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

 

 

About You

  • Must have at least 5+ years’ experience as a graphic or digital designer in an Advertising or Marketing Studio role, preferably with retail experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • A keen eye for design and a passion for creating visually stunning work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools.
  • A strong understanding of print and digital production processes.
  • A collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
