About the role

You will support a growing SEO team to execute the strategy across all SRG digital properties. Sitting in the eCommerce department, you will work under the SEO manager and closely with Digital, Marketing and Content to research, optimise and maintain content to deliver on key business metrics.

 

What you will be doing

  • Optimise and maintain metadata and SEO copy for all SRG digital properties
  • Recommend and implement SEO best practice techniques
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, research and analysis for content optimisation
  • Support and implement link acquisition strategy with the SRG Content Team
  • Maintain performance metrics and analyse data to support SEO strategy and performance
  • Continuously improve Google Business Profile listings
  • Establish networks within Digital, Marketing and Content teams to influence SEO opportunities and drive demand generation

 

About You

  • Must have at least 1+ years' experience in an SEO role
  • An understanding of online business and a thirst to learn how to connect with our customers and improve sales and market share 
  • Strong SEO copywriting experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team and individually
  • Working knowledge of Search (SEO/SEM) 
  • Proficiency with a wide range of technology tools, including Google Search Console; Analytics software; SEO Tools; Content management systems; Agile project management tools, including Jira and Confluence 
  • Previous experience with SAP Commerce is advantageous
