Spotlight Retail Group (SRG) is seeking a proactive and dynamic Claims Administrator to join our team for a 12-month contract. Reporting to the Group Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in
supporting the WorkCover Specialists to coordinate the administrative tasks associated with lodging, processing and filing communications to meet legislative requirements and minimising the impact of workplace injuries and assist in the successful return to work of our valued team members.
This exciting opportunity will involve a high level of administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation while providing timely and compassionate support to injured employees and management.
What You Will Be Doing
- Administration of WorkCover claims: Lodge, process, monitor, and ensure timely resolution.
- Liaise with stakeholders: Insurers, medical providers, legal representatives, employees.
- Maintain accurate records: Claim files, medical reports, correspondence.
- Ensure compliance: Legislation, SRG procedures, data privacy.
- Support team objectives: Assist with return-to-work programs, provide administrative support.
- Prepare reports: Claim status, statistics, performance metrics as required.
About You
- Must have minimum 2 years' experience: In an administrative role.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to build rapport.
- Strong Administrative & Organizational Skills: High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- WorkCover Knowledge: Knowledge of WorkCover legislation and procedures (preferred).
- Key Competencies: Attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, compliance, adaptability, time management, and teamwork.
