About the role
As a Product Developer, you will drive end-to-end design and development 4WD, camping and outdoor products at Anaconda and leverage industrial design, project management, cross-functional collaboration to deliver commercially viable, customer-led products.
You will Partner with Merchandise, Sourcing, and Quality teams to ensure alignment on design, manufacturability, cost, and quality.
What you will be doing
Design & Innovate:
Lead product development from concept to launch.
Translate trends into compelling designs.
Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models and renders.
Specify materials, finishes and manufacturing methods.
Assess and approve prototypes and samples.
Maintain precise documentation.
Manage & Collaborate:
Coordinate with buying, sourcing and quality teams.
Track timelines and budgets.
Collaborate across departments for seamless launches.
Research & Refine:
Conduct market and competitor analysis.
Test products in real-world conditions.
Incorporate user feedback for product improvements.
About You
Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Product Engineering or related field.
You will have at least 2-5+ years product development experience (4WD, camping, hiking or outdoor recreation preferred).
Proficient in 2D/3D CAD software for product design (e.g. Solidworks, Fusion 360, Onshape), and proven experience in sketching and modelling.
Proficient with rendering tools (e.g. Blender, Keyshot) and able to prepare CMF documentation.
Able to read and generate 2D dimensioned drawings, familiarity with dimensioning standards (GD&T).
Strong understanding of design cost factors and proven ability to implement Design for Manufacturing principles in the design process.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and materials.
Experience with offshore suppliers and project management.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Mandarin language skills are desirable.
