You’ll assist the Planner with strategic planning, forecasting and analysis to maximise sales and profit while optimising inventory. Working closely with Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing and Retail Operations you will help ensure optimal inventory across channels and support decisions to drive performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: contribute to product lifecycle and markdown strategies: collaborate with Buying and Supply Chain to maintain efficient stock flow and availability
Financial Management: support the development and maintenance of merchandise plans, assist in forecasting sales, margin and inventory
Demand and Forecasting: help build core line plans, update replenishment parameters and ensure timely orders align with demand projections
Analysis and Reporting: prepare trading reports, highlight trends and provide actionable insights to drive profitable growth
About You
Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail planning
Principal understanding of planning, methodologies and lifecycle of inventory
Strong analytical skills: able to derive insights and recommend improvements
Collaborate, with clear written and verbal communication
Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Office
Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
