The Impact You’ll Make

As our Payroll Officer, you will take ownership of the end-to-end payroll lifecycle for our diverse Victorian workforce. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • End-to-End Excellence: Managing high-volume, multi-location payroll with clinical precision.
  • Legislative Mastery: Interpreting complex Retail Awards and ensuring we remain a gold standard for compliance.
  • Problem Solving: Partnering with HR to resolve queries, managing leave entitlements, and streamlining timesheet processes.
  • Data Integrity: Maintaining our payroll systems and supporting critical month-end and year-end reporting.

 

What You Bring to the Table

We are looking for a payroll specialist who balances technical "know-how" with a customer-service heart.

  • Experience: You’ve managed payroll in a high-volume, multi-site environment (Retail or Hospitality experience is a major plus!).
  • Technical Savvy: You are an Excel power user and comfortable navigating modern payroll software.
  • Compliance Knowledge: You have a rock-solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation and Fair Work requirements.
  • Agility: You thrive under the "tight deadline" nature of payroll and maintain a high level of accuracy when things get busy.
