Are you a high-impact social media leader ready to define the digital footprint for Australia’s most iconic retail brands?
Spotlight Retail Group (SRG) is looking for a proactive and commercially-minded Social Media Marketing Manager to join our Group Marketing team.
In this position, you will lead a specialist team of five and take strategic ownership of our annual media investment across Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
You will be working closely with the Brand Marketing teams, internal performance teams, creative studio and our external agency partners to be accountable for collaboration with the teams to develop and deliver holistic social strategy.

What You Will Be Doing
Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will be the architect of our paid social strategy, overseeing a diverse portfolio that includes Spotlight (AU, NZ & SG), Anaconda, and Harris Scarfe.
You will own the social vision and execution roadmaps for our entire brand portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Direct a high-performing team of 5 specialists, fostering a culture of creative excellence and data-led decision-making.
- Budget Authority: Manage and optimize a ~$10M annual media spend, ensuring maximum ROI and brand growth across all social channels.
- Multi-Platform Mastery: Lead the planning and execution of sophisticated campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, and TikTok, ensuring best-in-class content and placement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Brand Marketing, Creative Studios, and external agency partners to deliver holistic, customer-centric strategies.
- Performance Optimization: Build robust reporting frameworks and dashboards to measure trading performance and ROI.
About You
We are looking for a powerhouse strategist who understands the intersection of brand storytelling and performance marketing.
- Proven Leadership: Experience managing and developing a team (ideally 4+ people) within a fast-paced retail or agency environment.
- Budget Expertise: A track record of managing significant, high-volume media budgets (7-8 figures) with a focus on attribution and growth.
- Technical Authority: Deep expertise in the Meta ecosystem, coupled with a strategic understanding of how to win on TikTok and Pinterest for retail.
- Stakeholder Mastery: The ability to influence, negotiate, and translate complex business requirements into digital content that converts.
- Innovation Mindset: You stay ahead of platform trends and can measure successful programs in tangible business terms.
