The Role: As a Camping Specialist, you will be the go-to expert for all things outdoors. Whether customers are planning a weekend getaway or expedition, you will provide them find the right gear and advice to make it unforgettable!
Customer Service: Provide friendly, expert advice on camping gear, equipment, and outdoor essentials
Product Knowledge: Assist customers in selecting products that suit their needs and experience level Maintain strong product knowledge across tents, cooking gear, sleeping systems, and more
Operations: Replenish stock and ensure the camping department is well-presented and organised- Bring the outdoors, indoors!
Merchandising: Support in-store promotions and seasonal campaigns Daily stock rotation to keep department eye-catching and accessible
Team: Work collaboratively with the team to create an engaging shopping experience
About You:
A genuine passion for camping, hiking, or outdoor adventures- Highly Desirable
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
Willingness to learn and stay up to date with the latest gear and trends
Retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
Proactive, can-do approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work a flexible part-time roster, including weekends
